Karen Varnell has demonstrated the technical skills necessary to perform her job responsibilities in our busy office very well. Karen’s interaction with clients and staff is well received while being conducted in a thorough and professional manner. Karen’s familiarity with various regulatory agencies and the construction industry is an added benefit as she supports staff with project background research, database compilation and permit application assistance.  Her professional office experience started in 1983, Karen also assists with the day-to-day operation of the general office including proofreading and editing documents, maintaining project records, answering the multi-line phones and greeting clients as the main receptionist.


In her free time, Karen enjoys skiing, hiking, golfing and expanding her wine knowledge.
